Ingredients

2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts

3 cups heavy cream

1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

1 teaspoon salt (or to taste)

½ teaspoon black pepper (or to taste)

1 cup chicken broth

8 oz fettuccine pasta (uncooked)

1 cup fresh spinach (optional)

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Prep the Chicken: Begin by placing the boneless chicken breasts at the bottom of your crockpot. Evenly sprinkle the salt, black pepper, and Italian seasoning over the chicken for flavor.

Add Garlic and Liquids: Pour the chicken broth over the chicken breasts, followed by the minced garlic. Finally, add the heavy cream and gently stir to ensure all ingredients are well combined.

Cook: Securely cover the crockpot with its lid. Cook on low heat for about 4 to 5 hours or on high heat for 2 to 3 hours, until the chicken is thoroughly cooked and tender.

Shred the Chicken: Once the cooking time is up, carefully remove the chicken from the crockpot. Shred it using two forks, ensuring it’s not too chunky, then return the shredded chicken to the pot.

Add Cheese: Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until it melts and creates a creamy consistency. If you're using fresh spinach, add it now, letting it wilt in the hot sauce for a couple of minutes.

Cook the Pasta: About 30 minutes before serving, cook the fettuccine pasta according to the package instructions, ensuring it is al dente. Once cooked, drain and set aside.

Combine: Gently fold the cooked fettuccine into the creamy chicken Alfredo sauce in the crockpot. Make sure to mix well, ensuring every strand of pasta is coated with the rich sauce.

Serve: Ladle generous portions of the creamy Chicken Alfredo into bowls. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley for an extra pop of color and flavor. Enjoy your deliciously creamy Chicken Alfredo!
