Ingredients

3 ripe bananas, well-mashed

2 cups Greek yogurt (choose plain or vanilla for flavor)

1/4 cup honey or maple syrup for sweetness

1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

1 cup granola (opt for a variety with nuts or seeds for extra crunch)

1/4 cup mini chocolate chips (optional for a sweet touch)

1/4 cup shredded coconut (optional for tropical flavor)

A pinch of ground cinnamon (optional for warmth)

Instructions

In a spacious mixing bowl, thoroughly mash the ripe bananas until they reach a smooth consistency. This will serve as both the natural sweetener and foundation for your crunchy bars.

Add the Greek yogurt, honey (or maple syrup), and vanilla extract to the mashed bananas. Using a spatula, mix everything together until the mixture is well-blended and creamy.

If you desire an additional layer of flavor, sprinkle in a pinch of ground cinnamon and gently fold it into the mixture.

Carefully incorporate the granola, mini chocolate chips, and shredded coconut (if using) into the banana-yogurt mixture, ensuring they are evenly dispersed throughout.

Prepare an 8x8 inch baking dish by lining it with parchment paper, allowing some overhang on the sides for easy removal later.

Pour the yogurt-banana mixture into the lined baking dish and use a spatula to spread it out evenly, smoothing the top.

Transfer the dish to the freezer and allow it to freeze for approximately 4 hours, or until the mixture is completely solid.

Once fully frozen, remove the dish from the freezer and lift the bars out using the parchment paper overhang for assistance.

Using a sharp knife, cut into squares or rectangular bars based on your preference. Serve immediately, or store leftovers in an airtight container in the freezer for up to a month.

Prep Time: 15 minutes | Total Time: 4 hours 15 minutes | Servings: 12 bars

                      - Presentation Tips: Arrange the bars on a colorful platter and drizzle with extra honey or sprinkle additional granola on top for an appealing presentation. Consider adding fresh banana slices or a sprinkle of shredded coconut for added decoration!
