Ingredients

1 cup graham cracker crumbs

1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder

1/3 cup melted coconut oil

1/4 cup honey or maple syrup

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

2 ripe bananas, sliced into thin rounds

1 cup dark chocolate chips

1 tablespoon coconut milk (or heavy cream)

A pinch of sea salt

Optional toppings: crushed nuts, shredded coconut, mini chocolate chips, or a drizzle of additional melted chocolate

Instructions

Prepare the Base: In a large mixing bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs and unsweetened cocoa powder. Pour in the melted coconut oil, honey (or maple syrup), and vanilla extract. Mix thoroughly until the ingredients are well incorporated and result in a crumbly texture that holds together when pressed.

Mold the Cups: Line a muffin tin with paper liners for easy removal. Take about 2 tablespoons of the prepared crumb mixture and firmly press it into the bottom of each muffin cup, creating a solid base. Use your fingers or a small cup to ensure the mixture is well compacted and even.

Add Banana Slices: Once the bases are ready, layer the banana slices on top of each cup. Aim for about 2-3 slices per cup, ensuring they cover the entire surface to provide a creamy layer beneath the chocolate.

Melt the Chocolate: In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the dark chocolate chips with the coconut milk. Heat in the microwave in 20-second intervals, stirring well between each interval, until the chocolate is completely melted and smooth without lumps.

Top with Chocolate: Carefully pour the melted chocolate over the banana slices in each cup, using a spoon to spread it evenly and completely cover the banana layer. Sprinkle a small pinch of sea salt on top for an elevated flavor experience.

Chill and Set: Transfer the muffin tin to the refrigerator and allow the cups to chill for 1-2 hours, or until the chocolate has hardened and the cups are fully set.

Serve: Once set, gently pull the cups from the muffin tin and peel off the liners. Serve the bliss cups chilled. For an extra decorative touch, garnish with your choice of optional toppings, such as crushed nuts, shredded coconut, mini chocolate chips, or even a drizzle of additional melted chocolate.
