4 boneless, skinless chicken thighs

1 bunch of fresh asparagus, trimmed (about 1 pound)

4 cloves of garlic, minced

1 medium lemon (zested and juiced)

2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil

1 teaspoon dried thyme

1 teaspoon dried rosemary

½ teaspoon red pepper flakes (adjust according to your spice preference)

Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Lemon wedges (for serving)

Preheat Your Oven: Begin by preheating your oven to 400°F (200°C) to ensure it’s hot and ready for roasting.

    Prepare the Marinade: In a medium mixing bowl, combine the olive oil, minced garlic, lemon zest, lemon juice, dried thyme, dried rosemary, red pepper flakes, along with a pinch of salt and black pepper. Whisk until well blended; this flavorful mixture will serve as your marinade.

      Marinate the Chicken: Place the chicken thighs into a large bowl or zip-lock bag. Pour half of the marinade over the chicken, ensuring that each piece is thoroughly coated. Allow the chicken to marinate for a minimum of 15 minutes at room temperature, or for deeper flavor, refrigerate for up to 2 hours.

        Prepare the Pan: On a large rimmed baking sheet, lay the marinated chicken on one side. On the opposite side, neatly arrange the trimmed asparagus stalks.
